Erin starts EAARO's new junior team
I joined EAARO because I love all things space and science. My first experience here was when I came to see the Quadrantids meteor shower, and got to see a working radio observatory exploring several different techniques to gather data from meteor observations. This was really exciting because as I am only twelve I had never seen such high tech computers; all of this really spurred my interest in this field of learning. After this experience I wanted to come back and see how much more I could learn. Turns out there’s a lot. Now I regularly volunteer at the control suite taking part in valuable data gathering research. Jason’s enthusiasm for future projects and STEM in general is truly infectious which is why I am looking forward to the upcoming year of projects which include: EAARO-MINE (mini neutrino experiment) and EAARO-SID (Sudden Ionospheric Disturbance Detector). if you believe this to be something you would enjoy please consider becoming a junior volunteer wi...
